ABOUT AYURVEDA
Ayurveda is a science of life deriving from roots of ancient India. “Ayu” means Life and “Veda” means Science. It brings together all the aspects of life.
Similar to other holistic healing practices such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Naturopathy or Herbalism, Ayurveda is also a natural science of healing. It not only includes herbs or natural therapies; but also, all the aspects related to the body, mind and soul. Ayurveda’s main aim is to attain the optimal health. Ayurveda does not refer to health merely in a physical context i.e. body and mind. It speaks about healing by creating a perfect balance of our body, mind and spirit.
